In order to setup Outlook to fetch your email follow these steps :
If it is already configured but you are having troubles downloading the email check the second half of this page where you can doublecheck your setup.

Step 1

Write your name and hit next.

Step 2

Write your email address and hit next.

Step 3

Select IMAP as server type. You could also choose POP3 here but IMAP is a better protocol. Write in both fields the exact name of the domain you are configuring mail for without any prefix like "mail." or "www." This is the name of your mailserver. Now hit next.

Step 4

Your account name is in most of the cases identical with the email address. This is the login for your mail server and must be the entire address and NOT just the part before @ as you would use on yahoo or hotmail. You may also want to write and save your password so that Outlook doesn't ask it every time. Do NOT check the box for SPA and hit next.

Step 5

You're done ... hit finish.
